Take the time to read the category criteria below. Once you have found the category that you fit in, continue to the application page and complete. Between Feb. 5th and Feb. 23rd, you should ONLY be completing the application. You will receive an email letting you if you have made it to the next round. In that email, you will receive further instructions on what you need to submit for consideration.

Outstanding Photographer Award

This esteemed professional boasts an extensive portfolio featuring exceptional work in the realms of fashion, headshots, and editorial credits. Eligible candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience in the plus-size and/or big & tall fashion industry. It is imperative that candidates possess a website showcasing their body of work, with no exceptions. Additionally, photographers who do not specialize in plus-size and/or big & tall fashion must themselves be plus-size and/or big & tall to be considered for this prestigious award.

Entertainer of The Year Award

The awardee has steadfastly upheld their unique brand identity while forging collaborations with both small and large brands to amplify and endorse the full-figured industry. It is imperative that candidates possess a website showcasing their body of work, with no exceptions.

Outstanding Designer Award

To be eligible for this category, all nominees must have a brand that includes clothing with an inventory of at least 65% plus size and/or big & tall clothing, and this criterion extends to accessory brands. In the footwear category, brands should be specific to plus and/or big & tall, such as extended size footwear and wide calf options, and the 65% inventory requirement applies here as well. Additionally, eligible candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience in designing clothing for the Plus and Big & Tall sector, and it is mandatory for them to have a website showcasing their work, with no exceptions.

Emerging Plus Model Award

Eligible candidates for this award must have a professional modeling career of seven years or less. It is essential that nominees have a website displaying their work, with no exceptions. A professional modeling career typically involves an individual engaging in various modeling opportunities, projects, and assignments within the fashion and entertainment industry. Here are key aspects that constitute a professional modeling career: Photoshoots: Models participate in professional photoshoots for various purposes, including editorial features, advertising campaigns, and brand promotions. They collaborate with photographers, stylists, and other professionals to create visually appealing images. Runway Modeling: Models may showcase clothing and accessories on fashion runways during events like fashion weeks or designer shows. This involves walking down the runway with poise and confidence while highlighting the designer's creations. Commercial Modeling: Commercial models feature in advertisements for products and services. This can include print ads, television commercials, online promotions, and other forms of commercial media. Editorial Modeling: Models pose for editorial spreads in magazines, conveying a specific theme or story through fashion and style. Editorial work often emphasizes creativity and artistic expression. Best Boutique Award

To qualify for The Best Boutique Award, candidates must operate either an online or physical store, with at least 65% of their inventory comprising plus-size clothing. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience in the plus-size fashion industry. It's important to note that social media pages do not qualify as a website; candidates are required to have an official website showcasing their work. No exceptions will be made to this requirement.

Outstanding MUA Award

To be eligible, candidates must have a minimum of three years of professional makeup experience within the plus-size industry (working on individuals other than themselves). Additionally, makeup artists who do not specialize in plus-size and/or big & tall fashion must themselves be plus-size and/or big & tall to be considered for this prestigious award. It is essential for candidates to have a website showcasing their work—no exceptions will be made. Book me pages are not acceptable as a website.

Outstanding Stylist Award

To be eligible, candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience styling individuals in the plus and/or big & tall fashion industry. A crucial requirement is the existence of a website showcasing their work, with no exceptions.

Outstanding Silver Fox Award

These individuals, with extensive experience, have not only showcased their enduring talent but have also made significant contributions to the Plus and/or Big & Tall sector over the past thirty six months. It's a recognition of their outstanding leadership and the lasting impact they've made in their respective fields. *It's important to note that this award category is not confined to modeling alone. Candidates eligible for consideration must have a dedicated website showcasing their work, without any exceptions.*

Outstanding Blogger Award

The awardee should demonstrate credible expertise in the realms of fashion, beauty, travel, and/or entertainment specifically within the plus-size and/or big and tall context. Eligible candidates must have a minimum of three years of blogging experience in this industry, and it is imperative that they possess a website showcasing their work—no exceptions.

Outstanding Podcast Award

This recipient has steadfastly engaged in partnerships and collaborations with creators, brands, and entrepreneurs within the plus-size and big & tall sector, delivering groundbreaking episodes that resonate with listeners on a personal level over the past thirty six months. Important note: Candidates must have a podcasting platform that extends beyond social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. No exceptions will be made in this regard

Content Creator of The Year

The awardee for Content Creator of the Year has remained authentic to their brand while addressing relevant topics in fashion, politics, and current events, particularly in relation to the plus-size industry and body positivity. While a website is not mandatory, candidates are encouraged to have a robust social media presence as part of their consideration for the award.
