Designer Instructions & Process Understanding Thank you for your interest in showcasing at the 15th Anniversary Designer Showcase in partnership with Queen Size Magazine and the Full Figured Industry Awards. This showcase will celebrate creativity, inclusivity, innovation, and excellence in fashion design while highlighting designers who create for and honor diverse bodies and beauty. The showcase will take place on November 6th. Selected designers will have the opportunity to present their collections before industry leaders, media, models, influencers, and members of the fashion community. Designer Expectations Participating designers are expected to: Maintain professional and timely communication. Meet all required deadlines and fitting schedules. Design with inclusivity and fit diversity in mind. Participate in meetings, fittings, rehearsals, and event-day activities. Collaborate with the production team regarding styling, music, lineup, and logistics. Arrive on time and respect all backstage and production procedures. Showcase Deliverables Selected designers will be required to provide: A completed 12-garment runway collection. Finalized sketches or design concepts. Garment sizing and model requirements. Completed runway-ready looks for the showcase. Sample Garment Requirement Designers advancing beyond the initial application stage must produce one completed sample garment for final review. This garment will be evaluated for creativity, craftsmanship, fit, and overall alignment with the vision of the showcase. The sample garment must be submitted no later than July 1st. Final designer selections will be announced by July 11th. Understanding of the Selection Process Submitting an application does not guarantee selection. Applications and sample garments will be reviewed based on originality, professionalism, quality, creativity, and showcase readiness. The production team reserves the right to curate the final lineup to ensure a balanced and high-quality showcase experience. Failure to meet deadlines or communication expectations may impact participation eligibility.
